Pim Privacy Policy
Effective October 13, 2026
Pim lets you talk to AI agents and control your own Mac from your iPhone. This policy explains what data Pim handles and why.
- No ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- The AI runs on your own Mac, with your own Claude Code (Anthropic) or Codex (OpenAI) account.
- You can delete your account in the app at any time, and everything we store goes with it.
What we store
- Account: how you sign in (Apple, Google or email) and the account identifier it gives us, plus your email address and, if Apple or Google shares it, your name. With Sign in with Apple the email may be a private relay address. If two sign-in methods use the same verified email, they open the same Pim account.
- Sign-in codes: when you sign in with email, we send a 6-digit code to that address. We keep only a hash of the code, it expires after 10 minutes, and it works once.
- Conversations: what you send to Pim, its replies, conversation titles and usage figures (model, tokens, time), kept on our server so they sync between your devices, until you delete the conversation or your account.
- Attachments: photos, files and screenshots you send are stored temporarily and deleted automatically after 7 days. Files you move between your iPhone and your Mac only pass through: they're deleted as soon as they arrive, and at the latest after a day.
- Memory: notes Pim keeps about your preferences. See, edit, turn off or delete them in Settings โ Memory.
- The schedules you create, your settings (time zone, model) and the device tokens used for notifications.
- Connected services: if you connect your own Telegram bot, its token is stored encrypted, and messages to the bot pass through our server to your Mac.
- Pairing: your Mac's identifier and the credential it connects with.
- Crash and performance reports: when Pim crashes, freezes or works your Mac too hard, the app sends a report so we can fix the problem. It holds technical details: app and system version, the Mac's name and model, the kind of problem, the code that was running, and, when a part of Pim on the Mac stops unexpectedly, the last lines of its log with your questions and Pim's answers left out. It doesn't hold the contents of your messages or files. On the Mac you can turn this off in Settings โ General.
What passes through but isn't stored
- Remote desktop: the picture of your Mac's screen and your taps and keystrokes are relayed through our server in real time. They are not recorded.
- Files and clipboard contents you move between your iPhone and Mac.
- Claude Code and Codex session details shown in the app, read from your Mac when you open them.
Third-party AI
When you send a message, Pim passes it (with the relevant conversation history, attachments and memory) to the AI agent running on your Mac, Claude Code by Anthropic or Codex by OpenAI, under your own account with them. How they handle it is governed by their terms and privacy policies (Anthropic, OpenAI). Pim asks for your permission before you first use it.
Apple services
- Voice input uses Apple's speech recognition and may be processed by Apple.
- Your location is read only when you tap "My Location", and goes into your message as text.
- Notifications are delivered through the Apple Push Notification service.
Service providers
Our server and storage run on Cloudflare, and data may be processed anywhere on its global network. Sign-in code emails are sent through Cloudflare's email service. Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google are handled by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies; we receive only the identifier, email and name described above, never your password. Notifications go through Apple.
Security
Everything is encrypted in transit with TLS. Telegram bot tokens are encrypted at rest. Only your signed-in account, and only a Mac you paired yourself, can be controlled remotely. You can turn on a Face ID lock in Settings.
Your choices
- Delete single conversations or memory notes, or your whole account in Settings โ Account.
- Disconnect your Mac or Telegram bot.
- Turn off notifications, microphone, camera or location access in iOS Settings.
Children
Pim is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
When this policy changes we update the date above, and tell you in the app about significant changes.
